$17.00/per hour to start - Full-time

 

Want to become part of the A-Team and work in Sam's Club in the Meat/Seafood Department? You will be in the front-line of customer service and product development. Enhancing the member's experience is a top priority. Your engagement with Member’s gives our product development team a direct line of sight to improving product assortment and growing sales.

Responsibilities

What will you do?

 

  • Educate Member’s on current knowledge of products we sell.
  • Ensure the highest standard of quality assurance.
  • Drive sales by becoming a product expert and sharing knowledge with customers to best represent our products.
  • Create solutions for our customer base through suggestive selling, cross selling, & upselling. Pairing items together for our customers.
  • Adhere to proper fresh food handling.
  • Assist in any merchandising needed for our products.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of Customer Service experience preferred. Prior sales agent, retail and reset responsibility experience preferred.
  • Strong demonstration of the following core competencies:
  • Must be comfortable utilizing Technology (i.e. smartphones and handheld devices)
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
  • Must be willing and able to work in cold environmental conditions (i.e. refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores) for limited periods of time.
  • Must be able to operate or learn how to operate a computer, calculator, telephone, and copier. Must be able to stand on a step stool.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, decision making and leadership skills. Must be able to read and communicate effectively with others.
  • Must have access to the internet on a daily basis. Must be able to work effectively in web based applications, email and other basic computer applications.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive in a car.
