What is a Business Manager?
As Business Manager you will be working directly with our clients and retailers and have a deep understanding of the two. You will deliver solutions to their clients helping them achieve their goals by developing strategies to promote growth, strengthen relationships, and increase marketplace presence. You also coordinate with a group of individuals striving to achieve the same goals.
The Impact of a Business Manager?
The Business Manager is the face of Acosta for both the retailer and the client. You directly impact promotional strategies, sales, and managing relationships. Business Managers share expertise to help clients reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

What will you do?

  • Create, manage, and execute your client’s strategic plan.
  • Coordinate and participate on key account calls and market visits.
  • Communicate clients’ priorities to Retail Sales Organization to deliver in store initiatives and business objectives.
  • Prepare New Item launch presentations and monitor success of these items
  • Monitors clients’ every day and promotional prices at the retailer.
  • Advise your clients on customer priorities and strategies to grow business.
  • Maintain current account distribution information.
  • Provide needed tools for clients to achieve their goals with merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelf positioning. These initiatives result in maximizing market share

Qualifications

What you will bring to the team:

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, negotiation, and sales skills.
  • The ability to analyze sales and marketing information needed to make effective sales presentations.
  • A proven track-record in sales; preferably with a food broker or national company.
  • Proficiency in a variety of software packages used to support sales function.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
