Overview

Do you enjoy traveling and working with a team?  Acosta merchandisers work in Giant Eagle stores to complete resets and merchandising projects according to planograms. This is a FT travel team so a valid driver’s license and vehicle are required. The travel team’s schedule is Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm (40 hrs).  You'd be mainly covering the Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Columbus markets.  Travel and mileage reimbursements are included with some added incentives. There is also a new Milestone Bonus where you are eligible for a $500 bonus after 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Our Merchandisers:

  • Read and follow a plan-o-gram to effectively complete reset work.
  • Perform duties such as moving and cleaning shelves, displaying merchandise properly, placing shelf strips and attaching tags appropriately, checking date codes and plan-o-gram integrity, and processing pack-outs and restocks as necessary.
  • Partner with store personnel and co-workers to achieve and maintain merchandising excellence, discuss changes, and build an effective working relationship.

Qualifications

  • You’re able to arrive at different locations in the area to get started by 7am. Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • You enjoy being physically active and can lift up to 40 pounds.
  • You are comfortable working with others.
  • If you happen to have Retail or Grocery experience already, even better!
