Overview

The Retail Merchandiser provides retail sales merchandising coverage and coverage of retail special projects for an assigned retail territory. They are responsible for representing ACOSTA and our principals through store coverage and executing objectives as set forth by their Manager to achieve superior in-store results in an assigned territory. Point of sale interaction is required and the ability to significantly and positively impact sales volume of the assigned product as a result.

 

Responsibilities

  • Deliver retail merchandising and sales goals in assigned grocery, convenience, and retail stores
  • Perform duties such as stocking shelves, building and maintaining displays, new item cut-ins, distribution checks, checking dates, product rotation, and planogram compliance
  • Work closely with store management to develop professional relationships to benefit our clients’ sales objectives

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a car for extended periods of time
  • Comfortably interact with customers and store personnel
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Lift up to 30 pounds
  • Willing and able to work refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores
  • Stand and/or walk for long periods of time
